There isn´t Grand Slam semifinal without Roger Federer

Roger Federer will play his 19th consecutive Grand Slam semifinal when he faces Andy Roddick at the Australian Open, equalling a Grand Slam singles record set more than 20 years ago by Martina Navrátilová.

The last Grand Slam in which Federer failed to reach at least the last four was at Roland Garros in 2004 when he lost a third round match in straight sets against Gustavo Kuerten.
